Fire Hydrant Systems
A fire hydrant system is a water supply with a sufficient pressure and flow delivered through pipes around the protected premises
Wet Riser System
Pressurised risers fed by the building’s fire pumps and tanks — with hose reel cabinets, landing valves and the ground-level breeching inlet that lets a Civil Defence appliance boost the main.

Dry Riser System
A dry riser is a system of empty pipework installed within buildings. It comprises a two way breeching inlet at ground level
Fire Extinguishers & Blanket
Portable and trolley-mounted fire extinguishers and fire blankets — supplied, sited by class of fire, installed, tested and refilled.
Sprinkler System
A sprinkler system is designed to use water to put out a fire. Between a fire suppression system and a traditional sprinkler system
Pre-Action System
A sprinkler system that holds the water back until detection and a sprinkler both confirm the fire — for rooms where an accidental discharge would cost more than the fire.
Water Spray System
A water spray system is a special fixed pipe system connected to a reliable supply of fire protection water and equipped with water spray nozzles
Foam System
Foam is produced by mixing a foam concentrate with water at the appropriate concentration, and then aerating and agitating the solution
Wet Chemical System
Fixed suppression over the cooking line — the only agent that reliably puts out burning oil and stops it re-igniting, with automatic fuel shut-off.
Clean Agent System
Gaseous suppression that puts a fire out without water or residue — FM-200, NOVEC 1230 and IG-541, for rooms where what is being protected cannot be soaked.
Fire Alarm Systems
The purpose of fire alarm and signaling systems shall be primarily to provide notification of alarm, supervisory, and trouble conditions
Public Address & Voice Evacuation System
A PAVA system replaces the sounder tone with spoken evacuation instructions and live announcements, broadcast zone by zone over the building’s loudspeakers.
CO System
Carbon monoxide detection for car parks and plant rooms — sensors that watch the air continuously and start the ventilation before the level becomes dangerous.
Disabled Toilet Alarm System
A call for help from an accessible WC that someone will actually answer — pull cord, reassurance indicator, over-door alarm and a remote panel at a staffed point.
Emergency & Exit Light System
Escape route and exit lighting that holds up when the mains do not — self contained, central monitored and central battery systems, designed from the building’s escape strategy.
