STARCO supplies, installs and commissions the Eaton Menvier addressable fire detection range across commercial, government, education and healthcare projects in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE.
The range covers everything from a single-loop panel in a small building to a fault-tolerant networked system spanning a campus, and is certified to EN 54-2 and EN 54-4 with LPCB approval. We hold the range on our approved equipment list and carry out the design, installation, testing and commissioning as part of a single fire protection package.

Addressable control panels
One to four loop addressable panels with a 7-inch colour touchscreen and modular card architecture, so a system can be expanded as a building changes. Fault-tolerant ring networking means a single cable fault does not take communication down. EN 54-2 and EN 54-4 certified, LPCB approved.

Intelligent addressable sensors
Optical smoke, photo-thermal and multi-mode heat sensors on a common mounting base, each with an integral short circuit isolator and 360° indication. Sensor type is selected per area — optical for slow smouldering fires, heat where dust, steam or fumes would cause false alarms.

Duct smoke detection
Duct probe housings that sample air inside ventilation ductwork, so smoke carried through an air handling system is detected and the plant shut down before it is distributed through the building.

Sounders, beacons and call points
Addressable sounder bases, sounder beacons and manual call points on the same loop as the detection, including weatherproof IP66 units for external and plant areas. Tone and volume are set from the panel rather than at the device.

Interfaces, remote indicators and loop accessories
Micro input and output units that bring plant onto the fire alarm loop — monitoring sprinkler flow switches and auxiliary panels, and switching HVAC shutdown, fire door release and fan control. Remote indicators for detectors concealed above ceilings or inside rooms that are normally locked, plus the loop, sounder, I/O and network cards that configure a panel to a particular building.

Emergency voice communication
Two-way fire telephone and disabled refuge communication to BS 5839 Part 9. The VoCALL 5 master unit at the fire control point talks to up to five outstations, emergency assist alarms or jack plates, wired radially in two-core fire-rated cable; firefighters plug a roaming handset into the jack plate on each floor.

Disabled toilet alarm
A stand-alone two-wire emergency assist alarm for accessible toilets, bathrooms and hotel rooms — dual-loop pull cord, over-door indicator with high-output blue light and buzzer, and a reset plate with tactile braille signage.
